Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to help build, automate, and maintain our scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with AWS and Azure, strong infrastructure-as-code skills using Terraform, and hands-on familiarity with IAM, automation, monitoring, and incident management. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team implementing SRE best practices, improving platform reliability, and enabling fast, secure delivery through automated pipelines and platform tooling.
Key Responsibilities:
• Automate provisioning, scaling, and management of infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring security, compliance, and reusability of components.
• Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure platform health, availability, and performance using tools like Dynatrace.
• Participate in the incident response lifecycle, including detection, diagnosis, resolution, and postmortem analysis, in collaboration with SRE and DevOps teams.
• Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles such as SLAs, SLOs, and error budgets to ensure reliability and scalability of critical systems.
• Manage IAM, RBAC, and directory services using tools like Entra ID, and handle access requests securely across cloud environments.
• Operate and manage services across AWS and Azure, including:
• Serverless & PaaS services
• Compute resources: EC2, VMs
• Kubernetes: EKS, AKS
• Load Balancers: ALB, NLB, Azure equivalents
• Secrets Management
• Work with GitHub Actions to automate infrastructure deployment and operations workflows.
• Implement security best practices, perform compliance checks, and optimize infrastructure performance.
• Manage and optimize CDN platforms such as Cloudflare, Akamai, or similar for enhanced performance and availability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proficient with AWS and Azure cloud platforms and services.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform: writing, reusing, and managing modules and infrastructure state.
• Solid understanding of IAM, RBAC, access control, and identity federation using Entra ID (Azure AD) or equivalents.
• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) and containerized platforms.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions and CI/CD automation.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Dynatrace.
• Experience with CDNs such as Cloudflare or Akamai.
• Understanding of SRE principles and modern operational practices.
