Web Designer / Developer (WordPress + Creative Production)
About the Role
We’re looking for a highly creative, technically capable Web Designer/Developer who can build modern websites from the ground up and support client marketing deliverables across digital channels. This role blends design + development with hands-on execution across WordPress, UI/UX, SEO support, and digital creative (graphics, social assets, occasional video/print).
What You’ll Do
Website Design & Development (Primary)
Design and build websites from scratch (concept → layout → development → launch)
Create inspiration boards and page layouts in Figma and/or Adobe XD
Develop websites in WordPress, including theme configuration and page builds
Manage hosting setup (e.g., SiteGround), support DNS configuration, and oversee go-live
Test responsiveness and quality across devices/browsers
Maintain and troubleshoot plugins/updates and site performance
Create and maintain custom HTML/CSS as needed
Build and manage web forms and form flows
Creative + Marketing Support (Secondary)
Create and edit website graphics (hero images, supporting visuals) in Photoshop/Illustrator
Produce social media graphics (static + carousel + light motion) using Canva and Adobe tools
Support basic video editing needs (tightening footage, text animation, captions) using Canva and/or Adobe Premiere
Contribute to brand and marketing design projects (logo support, print collateral, event/tradeshow materials) as needed
Build and maintain CodeTwo email signatures for clients when requested
SEO Support
Use tools like SEMrush to audit and improve on-page SEO (site structure, content, metadata, technical basics)
Partner with internal stakeholders to implement SEO recommendations
Client Communication & Project Ownership
Communicate with clients clearly and professionally (email, meetings, follow-ups)
Help lead and document client meetings; translate feedback into actionable tasks
Prepare presentations/decks for design reviews
Update project management tools (e.g., Trello) with notes, tasks, and progress
Take increasing ownership of projects: gather required assets, clarify requirements, and drive execution
What We’re Looking For
Strong web design + development skillset, especially in WordPress
Strong design eye for layout, typography, and clean UI
Comfort working across both creative and technical tasks
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
Organized, reliable, and proactive communicator
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects running at once

What Success Looks Like (First 3–6 Months)
Deliver high-quality WordPress builds with strong visual polish and clean execution
Communicate timelines clearly and keep projects moving forward in Trello
Reduce revision cycles by proactively gathering requirements/assets and applying design fundamentals (contrast, hierarchy, dominance)
Begin owning projects end-to-end with minimal hand-holding
Contribute to internal process improvements (templates, documentation, standardized handoffs)
