We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media and Marketing Manager to lead our digital presence at a vibrant hobby shop. *Duties*
* Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok to increase followers and engagement.
* Create, curate, and manage high-quality content including graphics, videos, photography, and blog posts using Adobe Creative Suite tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.
* Manage social listening to monitor brand reputation, industry trends, and customer feedback; respond promptly to comments and messages to foster community relationships.
* Utilize social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Adobe Creative Cloud for scheduling posts, analyzing performance metrics with Google Analytics and Web Analytics tools.
* Plan and execute targeted advertising campaigns on Facebook Advertising and other digital channels to promote products, events, or special offers.
* Conduct keyword research for SEO optimization of website content; improve search engine rankings through effective content strategies.
* Collaborate with the sales team on e-commerce initiatives to enhance online sales through branding efforts and digital marketing tactics.
* Engage in public relations activities by managing relationships with local media outlets, influencers, and community partners.
* Proofread all marketing materials for accuracy and brand consistency; ensure messaging aligns with overall branding objectives.
* Track campaign performance metrics regularly; prepare reports to assess ROI and inform future marketing strategies.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience in social media management, digital marketing, or related roles within retail or hobby industries.
* Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Premiere or other video editing software.
* Familiarity with social media management platforms such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar applications.
* Knowledge of SEO best practices including keyword research and web analytics tools like Google Analytics.
* Experience with Facebook Advertising campaigns and e-commerce platforms is highly desirable.
* Excellent graphic design skills with an eye for visual storytelling; ability to produce engaging multimedia content.
