DMI is seeking a driven and results-oriented IT Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of IT infrastructure and operations initiatives supporting a mission-focused federal environment. This is a high-visibility role responsible for ensuring complex technical projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives.

Role Overview
The IT Project Manager oversees the full lifecycle of assigned infrastructure and operations projects, ensuring seamless coordination from planning through execution and delivery. This role partners closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership to define scope, manage risks, track progress, and drive successful outcomes.
You will play a critical role in translating strategic objectives into actionable plans and ensuring operational excellence across project portfolios.Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day execution and accountability for assigned IT projects
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders
Develop detailed work plans, schedules, cost estimates, and resource allocations
Oversee project implementation to ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved
Facilitate project meetings and drive cross-team collaboration
Provide clear, data-driven status reporting and executive-level updates
Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
Coordinate across infrastructure, operations, service delivery, and solution teams
Ensure projects remain aligned with approved objectives and organizational priorities
Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed
Qualifications:
Required Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience leading and managing IT projects
Experience supporting IT infrastructure, operations, service delivery, or technical solution development
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
Demonstrated experience in project planning, execution, and lifecycle management
Working knowledge of IT infrastructure and operational environments
Education
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience
Substitutions (per contract guidelines):
No degree: 2 additional years of experience
Associate’s degree: 1 additional year of experience
Master’s or PhD: No additional experience required
Preferred Qualifications
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
Experience with both Agile and traditional project delivery approaches
Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow, etc.)
Familiarity with ITIL and IT service management practices
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic environment
Clearance & Requirements
Must successfully complete a Public Trust background investigation and/or obtain a Public Trust clearance
Must be a U.S. Citizen
