Position Overview:
Core Spaces is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Associate, Power BI Report Writer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver clear, actionable insights to business stakeholders across the organization.
This role partners closely with Data Engineering, Analytics, Product, and cross-functional business leaders to translate curated data sets from our internal data warehouse into intuitive visualizations and reliable reporting solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in Power BI with a deep understanding of business context, data governance, and performance optimization.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring data accuracy, reporting scalability, and adherence to governance standards while supporting ongoing enhancements and documentation across multiple business channels.
What You Will Do:
Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports using curated data sets from Core’s internal data warehouse.
Translate complex business requirements into clear, visually compelling, and user-friendly reporting solutions.
Partner with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to ensure data integrity, consistency, and optimal performance.
Optimize report performance, manage data models, and implement best practices for scalability and efficiency.
Ensure adherence to data governance standards, security protocols, and documentation requirements.
Collaborate with Product Managers and business stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize enhancements, and support iterative improvements.
Validate and reconcile data outputs to ensure accuracy and alignment with source systems.
Maintain detailed documentation of report logic, data sources, definitions, and calculations.
Troubleshoot reporting discrepancies and proactively identify opportunities for automation and enhancement.
Support the evolution of reporting frameworks across multiple business channels at Core.
Occasional travel may be necessary as needed
Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by management
Must be able to complete all physical requirements of this role with or without a reasonable accommodation
Ideally, You'll Have:
3+ years of experience designing and developing dashboards and reports in Power BI.
Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling concepts.
Experience working with data warehouses and curated data sets.
Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into actionable reporting solutions.
Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
Experience optimizing report performance and implementing governance standards.
Ability to manage multiple reporting initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Pay Range: USD $80,000.00 - USD $100,000.00 /Yr. Additional Compensation: Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, typically up to 10% of base salary annually, depending on individual and organizational performance. Compensation Disclosure:
