Overview:
Location: Buffalo, NY
Hourly Pay Rate: $75 - $100/hour
Part Time: 20 - 24 hours per week
We are seeking a part-time ERP Workstream Analyst specializing in HCM and/or Financial (payments/procurements) workstreams who will support our client on an enterprise ERP program. This role will coordinate with project stakeholders and subject matter experts, conduct quality assurance on vendor deliverables, and helps produce project reporting and key deliverables across the implementation lifecycle. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong business analyst skills and prior experience with ERP projects.
Duties:
Assist with executive- and project-level status, risk, and issue reporting.
Attend regular project team and workstream-specific meetings (functional, technical, etc.) and document actions and decisions.
Support business analysis activities, including gathering inputs, validating requirements, and maintaining traceability as needed.
Review and provide feedback on vendor deliverables (e.g., functional designs, requirements, and related artifacts).
Conduct QA on vendor work and support resolution of gaps, defects, and follow-up items.
Provide targeted support to project team members and SMEs throughout the SDLC (design, develop, test, train, deploy, hypercare).
Roll up workstream activities, risks, and issues into ongoing project deliverables (status/progress reporting and readiness updates).
Assist with development, validation, and presentation of project deliverables (e.g., progress reports and go-live readiness reporting)
Mandatory Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or combination of experience and education.
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
3+ years of experience supporting ERP implementations and/or ERP workstreams (HCM and/or Financials).
3+ years of experience reviewing deliverables and providing structured feedback (e.g., requirements, functional designs, configurations, or test artifacts).
Experience developing reporting materials (dashboards, slide updates, and status summaries).
Experience coordinating across stakeholders and SMEs, tracking actions, timelines, and dependencies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including meeting facilitation and documentation
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience with major ERP platforms (e.g., Workday, Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics).
Hands-on experience supporting testing activities (test planning, execution support, defect tracking, and readiness reporting).
Familiarity with common delivery tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or Confluence).
