What You’ll Contribute as a Data Engineer
Data Architecture & Integration
Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse, Databricks, Logic Apps, etc.
Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for structured/unstructured data from multiple sources.
Implement data models, data lakes, and data warehouses in Azure.
Use Azure Databricks for big data transformations & analytics.
Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, & performance tuning in Azure SQL/SQL Server.
Integrate streaming & real-time data solutions using Event Hubs, Kafka, or Azure Stream Analytics.
Ensure data governance, security, & compliance (RBAC, encryption, monitoring, logging). Implement CI/CD pipelines for data solutions using Azure DevOps, Git, ARM Templates, or Terraform.
Power BI Ownership and Optimization
Lead the architecture & administration of Power BI across the enterprise.
Design & implement scalable semantic models that unify data from disparate systems.
Author complex DAX measures & calculated columns to support dynamic reporting needs.
Optimize DAX queries for performance and scalability across large datasets.

What You’ll Leverage in this Role:
Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of overall IT experience with a focus on data engineering; banking or financial services industry a plus.
Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, and Azure Data Lake.
Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks (PySpark, Python, or Scala); proficiency in Python, Spark, or Scala for data transformations.
Strong knowledge of SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization.
Experience with big data platforms and distributed systems.
