*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Supervisor/Project Manager oversee our construction projects from inception to completion, working in conjunction with our lead carpenters. In this role you will coordinate all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and matching the scope. Your leadership will drive safety, efficiency, and excellence across multiple teams and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes innovation and accountability internally, and with our relationship partners.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage construction project, both large and small, utilizing your expertise in project management, scheduling, budgeting, and technical skills to deliver outstanding results.
*Responsibilities*
* Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects by coordinating resources, schedules, and budgets effectively.
* Scheduling jobs and crews and subs for the daily work-week. (We are a mid-size company running 3-5 crews at any given time)
* Oversee daily operations on-site, supervising construction progress, teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure safety protocols and quality standards.
* Ensure accurate implementation of project specifications and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with scope, budget, and timeline expectations.
* Perform quality control checks throughout the project lifecycle to uphold high standards of workmanship and compliance with industry regulations.
* Oversee budgeting/completion progress by tracking costs against estimates and managing change orders efficiently, in conjuction with office support staff.
* Read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately to guide construction activities where necessary
* Ensure all construction activities meet contractual obligations while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
*Experience*
* Proven supervisory experience in construction projects with a strong background in supervising teams on-site.
* Extensive knowledge of construction management practices including scheduling budgeting, contract administration, and quality control.
* Experience with Xactimate is a plus.
* Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
* Experience in construction estimating processes along with familiarity with contracts negotiation and management.
* Must be computer literate with Microsoft products and we will introduce you to our CRM.
* Skilled in managing project timelines through detailed scheduling efforts
* Construction site experience.
