*About the Client* Circle is a global financial technology company at the forefront of the new internet of money. Their infrastructure—including USDC, a blockchain-based dollar—powers payments, commerce, and financial applications worldwide.
*About the Role* Careers Connect is currently hiring on behalf of our client, *Circle*, a global financial technology leader. We are looking for over 20 Senior Software Engineers to extend Circle’s in-house blockchain systems infrastructure. In this role, you will build and own scalable microservices and secure APIs that transfer value across both blockchain and traditional banking protocols.
*Key Responsibilities*
* *Infrastructure Evolution:* Extend Circle’s blockchain systems to support the global tokenization of assets.
* *Microservices Ownership:* Build and maintain scalable microservices and APIs that bridge the gap between crypto and traditional finance.
* *System Design:* Collaborate with Product and Engineering to design, test, and document system procedures and quality standards.
* *API Development:* Build publicly accessible APIs that simplify complex payment integrations for developers.
* *Full-Stack Infrastructure:* Write the code that delivers elite payment experiences, managing data sources (SQL/NoSQL), messaging systems, and high-performance APIs.
*Requirements*
* *Experience:* 6+ years of professional software development experience.
* *Technical Depth:* Deep expertise in *Java* (Object-Oriented) is required. (Note: C#/.NET backgrounds are not a fit for this stack).
* *Leadership:* Proven experience leading small teams (2–4 engineers) on architecture and system design.
* *Domain Expertise:* Previous experience working with payment systems (Credit Cards, Bank Transfers, etc.).
* *Cloud & Data:* Strong experience with Cloud Services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and SQL database schema design.
* *Quality Focus:* A "test-first" mentality with a passion for high code quality and continuous delivery.
