The Venture Capital Analyst (Entry-Level / Junior) supports investment teams across the full venture lifecycle—from sourcing and market research to diligence and portfolio support. Key Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate prospective startups through market research, inbound deal flow, and ecosystem engagement
Conduct introductory calls with founders and summarize investment opportunities
Support due diligence efforts, including:
Product and technology assessment
Market sizing and competitive landscape analysis
Business model and traction review
Basic financial analysis and assumptions
Assist with investment memo preparation and internal presentations
Contribute to market maps, sector research, and investment thesis development
Track portfolio company KPIs and assist with performance reporting
Support investment committee preparation and internal decision processes
Assist with fundraising materials, LP updates, and internal reporting
Stay informed on emerging trends, technologies, and startup ecosystems
Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, engineering, data, or another analytical discipline
Strong interest in startups, venture capital, and early-stage technology companies
Prior experience in investment banking, consulting, venture capital, private equity, product management, startups, or related internships is a plus
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Curious, proactive, and comfortable engaging with founders and investors
