Job Description

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a GenAI Data Scientist to design, build, and deploy LLM-powered solutions, including multi-agent systems, that support business-critical workflows. This is a hands-on role focused on applying GenAI in real production environments. You will work closely with other data scientists and engineers to turn ideas into reliable, scalable systems while continuing to deepen your expertise in agentic architectures and applied machine learning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Contribute to GenAI and data science projects from problem definition through deployment, with guidance from senior team members.
Build and extend multi-agent systems using frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph, including supervisors, tools, agent coordination, and shared state.
Develop LLM-powered pipelines for extraction, classification, reasoning, summarization, and decisioning tasks.
Implement agent orchestration patterns such as routing, tool calling, retries, and fallback strategies.
Partner with engineering to integrate models and agents into production services, following established API, versioning, and observability standards.
Monitor deployed agents and models for accuracy, latency, and failures, and support debugging and iterative improvements.
Write clean, maintainable data science code, including unit tests and documentation, and help improve existing logic as systems evolve.
Apply best practices for prompt design, evaluation, and basic confidence or quality scoring within agentic workflows.
Participate in design reviews and technical discussions related to GenAI systems and agent behavior.
Share learnings and support junior team members when needed.
YOUR LOCATION
This is a fully remote role, with the exception of onboarding and optional in-office events.

Skills & Experience
3 to 5 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AI roles, with hands-on experience building GenAI or LLM-based systems.
Strong Python skills and experience writing production-quality, testable code.
Practical experience using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar tools to build LLM applications.
Experience implementing or contributing to multi-agent systems, including agent coordination, tool usage, and state management.
Familiarity with common GenAI use cases such as information extraction, classification, summarization, and reasoning over unstructured data.
Solid understanding of prompt design and techniques to improve reliability, including retries, fallbacks, and guardrails.
Experience integrating models or agents into backend services or APIs.
Basic understanding of monitoring concepts such as accuracy, latency, and error analysis.
Ability to work effectively with software engineers and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time, (up to 8 hours per day) at a desk working on a computer.
Must be able to use standard office equipment for extended periods of time, including but not limited to, a mouse, keyboard, phone and video conferencing.
