Labor is the last broken supply chain. Forecasting, allocation, and professional identity remain fragmented across static tools and manual decision-making. Ando is rebuilding this system from first principles.
We start with highly accurate AI-generated demand forecasts, move to allocation-first labor optimization, and compound value through a persistent labor graph that captures skills, reliability, availability, and performance across time and employers. Over time, this becomes a professional identity layer and intelligent system serving both enterprises and frontline workers.

The Role
You will own end-to-end feature delivery across Ando’s entire stack, including our Python/FastAPI backend, Next.js enterprise dashboard, React Native mobile application, and PostgreSQL database.
This is a high-autonomy role for an engineer who ships complete features, from database schema design through backend APIs to polished web and mobile interfaces. You will operate with minimal oversight, make pragmatic technical decisions, and move quickly on near-term deliverables that directly impact customers.
This role is designed as a foundational technical leadership position, with meaningful influence over product quality, system architecture, and development velocity.
What You’ll Own
Architect and implement features spanning backend APIs, web dashboard, and mobile application
Own full feature delivery from database schema through production deployment
Design PostgreSQL schemas with row-level security to support multi-tenant data isolation
Build integrations with AI services, including the Claude API and internal forecasting systems
Develop internal AI-assisted tooling to improve engineering velocity and system reliability
Implement backend notification infrastructure using AWS SNS and SQS
Integrate push notifications across APNs, FCM, and mobile clients
Build interactive scheduling interfaces with real-time metrics and calculations
Deploy and operate services on AWS using App Runner, Lambda, and RDS
Manage infrastructure changes using Terraform
Lead technical decisions independently and execute quickly on near-term priorities
What We’re Looking For
7+ years of professional software engineering experience with full-stack ownership
Expert-level AI-assisted development experience, including daily use of tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar
Strong Python experience, including FastAPI, async/await, Pydantic, and pytest
Strong TypeScript experience, including Next.js (App Router and Server Components), React, and Tailwind CSS
Deep PostgreSQL experience, including complex queries, migrations, and performance optimization
Experience operating production systems on AWS, including App Runner, Lambda, RDS, Secrets Manager, and SNS/SQS
Comfort operating with ambiguity, ownership, and minimal process overhead
Nice to Have
Experience building MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers or AI agent workflows
React Native or Expo mobile development experience
Experience implementing push notification systems, including APNs, FCM, or Expo Notifications
Exposure to time-series forecasting, optimization systems, or ML-adjacent pipelines
