Job Description
*Overview*
American Trash Management (ATM) is a consulting firm that designs trash, recycling, and logistics systems for multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial developments. We are hiring an entry-level Project Analyst to prepare technical Solid Waste & Loading Logistics narratives and support Project Managers. This is a writing-heavy, detail-oriented role with long-term clear growth into a Project Manager position.
*Responsibilities*
* Prepare trash, recycling, and loading logistics management narratives
* Review architectural drawings
* Identify operational and design issues related to waste handling
* Research local regulations, hauler requirements, and service standards
* Analyze waste volumes, equipment sizing, and collection schedules
* Coordinate with internal project managers, designers, and engineers
* Communicate with clients, municipalities, and service providers
* Track deadlines and deliverables for assigned projects
* Assist project managers with coordination and deliverables
*Requirements*
* Strong research, writing, and editing skills
* Comfortable communicating by phone with service providers regularly
* Organized and able to manage multiple deadlines
* Clear and professional communication style, follow through and accountability is expected
* Proven ability to problem solve
* Ability to read architectural plans
* Willingness to learn solid waste related regulations, codes, and operations requirements
* Experience with project management tools (Monday, Asana, Smartsheets, etc.)
* Proficiency with office tools (Excel, Word, etc.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
