Job Description
The Enterprise Architect reports to the Chief Information Officer and provides strategic technical leadership to align enterprise architecture, application portfolios, and technology standards with business objectives. This role drives cloud modernization, AI-enabled innovation, and scalable solution design across the organization. The Enterprise Architect partners with business and IT leaders to deliver secure, resilient, and cost-effective technology solutions supporting underwriting, claims, policy administration, and customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain enterprise architecture vision, roadmap, and principles aligned with business strategy.
Establish and govern architecture standards, patterns, frameworks, and reference architectures.
Lead architecture governance processes to ensure alignment with enterprise standards, cloud-first practices, and deployment automation.
Define cloud adoption strategy and design hybrid/multi-cloud architectures that optimize cost, performance, security, and compliance.
Establish cloud-native standards including microservices, containers, serverless, and event-driven architecture.
Drive application modernization efforts, including legacy system assessment and transformation roadmaps.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in enterprise or solution architecture roles (insurance or financial services preferred).
3+ years leading cloud transformation and application modernization initiatives.
2+ years of experience supporting AI/ML architecture, implementation, or strategy.
