The Web Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions, optimize performance, and enhance overall system architecture.
*Duties*
* *Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web applications and websites* using front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Bootstrap, Angular, React, and established UI/UX best practices.
* *Build robust back-end systems* leveraging frameworks such as Spring Framework, Node.js, and PHP to support application functionality and scalability.
* *Analyze business and user requirements* and translate them into detailed technical specifications and scalable system designs.
* *Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services* to facilitate secure and efficient data exchange between client and server components.
* *Manage and maintain databases*, including MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB and data visualization tasks as required.
* *Write, evaluate, and optimize production-quality source code* to ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, performance requirements.
* *Evaluate system compatibility across browsers, devices, and operating systems* and implement corrective solutions to ensure consistent functionality and performance.
* *Perform scheduled and post-deployment testing* to validate system functionality, performance, security, and reliability.
* *Monitor server load, database performance, and security logs*; recommend and implement performance, scalability, and reliability improvements.
* *Utilize version control systems*, including GitHub and Jenkins, to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
* *Optimize websites for search engine visibility (SEO)* and ensure responsiveness across devices using responsive web design principles.
* *Collaborate with cross-functional teams* to prioritize development initiatives, resolve technical issues, and align technical solutions with business objectives.
* *Stay current with emerging technologies*, including React Native application development, and evaluate their applicability to ongoing and future projects.
*Required Education and Skills*
* *Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree* in Computer Science, Software Engineering is *required*.
* Minimum 3 *years of experience* in web development or software engineering.
* Proven experience in full-stack web development with a strong portfolio of projects.
* Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular), jQuery.
* Solid back-end development using Python (Django), Java (Spring Framework), PHP
* Experience working with databases: MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB; strong SQL
* Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker
* Automation with Zapier with python coding preferred.
* Familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for application deployment.
* Experience with version control systems: GitHub or Git
* Understanding of system architecture principles including MVC/MVVM patterns.
* Knowledge of web services: RESTful APIs; experience integrating third-party APIs such as GraphQL or custom APIs.
* Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities.
* Relevant certifications or coursework in software development or related fields are advantageous.
Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
