*AWS Cloud Architect – GovCloud & FedRAMP*
*Location:* Remote (US-based only)
*Experience:* 8–12+ years | 5+ years AWS | 2+ years GovCloud & FedRAMP

*About the Role*
We're hiring an *AWS Cloud Architect* to design and secure cloud infrastructure across *AWS GovCloud and Commercial regions* for healthcare technology clients. You'll lead architecture, compliance, and automation initiatives in a *FedRAMP/NIST 800-53* environment.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Design secure, scalable AWS architectures (GovCloud & Commercial)
* Configure VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, Route 53 (PHZ, Resolver, hybrid DNS)
* Build Infrastructure as Code with *Terraform* and CI/CD pipelines
* Implement *FedRAMP/NIST 800-53* controls, IAM, encryption, and ATO documentation
* Architect containerized solutions (EKS/ECS) and serverless (Lambda, API Gateway)
* Ensure reliability, observability (CloudWatch, Prometheus), and cost optimization
* Lead technical teams and mentor engineers
*Required Skills*
* Deep AWS networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53 Resolver, PrivateLink)
* Strong *Terraform* skills for multi-account deployments
* *FedRAMP compliance* and *NIST 800-53* expertise, ATO processes
* Hands-on CI/CD, automation, scripting (Python, Shell)
* Containers (EKS/ECS), serverless (Lambda), security tools (GuardDuty, KMS, Config)
*Required Certifications:*
* AWS Solutions Architect – Professional
* AWS Security Specialty
* CISSP or CCSP (preferred)
